Direct membership is reserved for professionals who possess a defined number of years of relevant experience, under the recognition that such individuals have already acquired essential skills, knowledge, and expertise in the field.
The candidate must hold at least a first degree in a relevant field of study, obtained not less than two years prior to application, and must have a minimum of one year of professional experience in supply chain management, inventory, warehousing, logistics, or transport.
The candidate must hold a minimum of a first degree in a relevant field of study, obtained at least five years prior to application, with a minimum of seven years of professional experience in supply chain management, inventory, warehousing, logistics, or transport. Alternatively, candidates who have maintained associate membership for not less than three (3) years are also eligible.
The candidate must have demonstrated advanced leadership skills in managing teams within supply chain management, logistics management, or transport, and must be at the peak of their career with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant professional experience in supply chain management, inventory, warehousing, logistics, or transport. Alternatively, candidates who have held full membership status for not less than five (5) years are also eligible.
The candidate must possess a Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in a relevant field of study and must have attained outstanding professional distinction in supply chain management, logistics, transport, or a related discipline. The candidate should demonstrate a proven record of leadership, research, or professional practice of not less than twenty (20) years, with significant contributions to the advancement of knowledge or practice in the field. Alternatively, candidates who have maintained full fellowship status for a minimum of seven (7) years and have made notable contributions to the profession may also be considered.
The Institutional Membership of the American Institute of Supply and Transport (AIST-USA) is designed for universities, colleges, polytechnics, training institutes, professional bodies, and corporate organizations that wish to collaborate with AIST-USA in promoting excellence in supply chain, logistics, and transport education and practice globally.
Institutions seeking membership must:

Maintain a record of academic/professional credibility and ethical standards.
